About Buffi's Scans
I've been collecting arcade games for around 20 years now, and over time built up a collection of flyers and artwork for the games I've collected. The majority of these are original flyers and artwork, but some of them are reproductions (those will be marked as such). Especially when buying boards from Japanese professional retailers, copied art is fairly common.
This page is meant to be a place where I can dump these scans, and share them with others. Scans will also be mirrored on archive.org for redundancy.
Scanning process
Scanning process of my scans varies a bit depending on the item, and when it was scanned.
The main scanner I use is a Canon CanoScan 9000F with Canon MP Navigator EX as scanning software.
I have access to a Ricoh MP C3004 which I've used for some larger items, as well as for A4 manuals with many pages (with ADF).
Note that I do not intend for everything I scan to be "archival quality", since that would be too much work.
In terms of quality, I scan most stuff in 600DPI except for manuals which are typically scanned in 300DPI.
I do have a (IT8) ICC Color Profile for my scanner which I do apply to new scans of graphical items.
In general, I try to follow the process of https://scanning.guide as closely as possible, since they seem to know what they are doing.
As I've learned how to do this a bit more properly over time, some of the earlier scans might looks worse than later ones. If there is something that you would like to see re-scanned in higher quality, please feel free to contact me.
The TL;DR is that I do my best on these, but you should not expect anything to be perfect.
